Construction Update January 3, 2019.
Rain has complicated not only the exterior work but the interior work as the humidity has delayed the timeline. It is going to be a tight squeeze to make the dedication date of March 5. We will delay the landscaping until at least mid-February and pews cannot be installed until the floor is completed. Contractors will be working Saturdays from now on so that we can ensure a timely finish. They will begin construction on the Columbarium as soon as it stops raining. We all look forward to the completion date and certificate of occupancy.

La lluvia ha complicado no solo el trabajo exterior, sino también el interior, ya que la humedad ha retrasado la línea de tiempo. Será un apretón para hacer la fecha de dedicación del 5 de marzo. Retrasaremos el paisajismo hasta a mediados de febrero y las bancas no puedan instalarse hasta que se complete el piso. Los contratistas trabajarán los sábados a partir de ahora para que podamos asegurar un final oportuno. Comenzarán a construirse el Columbario tan pronto como deje de llover. Todos esperamos la fecha de finalización y el certificado de ocupación.
Construction Update December 6, 2018.
The Masons are almost finished and that will clear a lot of the parking lot for use. Interior is coming along nicely, the ceiling is most finished, finish work continues in the rooms. Rose window will be installed before Christmas, pews are to be delivered the first week of February. We are getting closer to the February 6 completion date. Finish schedule is hanging on the office window.

Los albañiles están casi terminado y eso despejará gran parte del estacionamiento para su uso. El interior está muy bien, el techo está más terminado, trabajo continúa en los cuartos. La ventana circular de colores se instalará antes de Navidad, las bancas se entregarán la primera semana de febrero. Nos estamos acercando a la fecha de finalización del 6 de febrero. El horario de finalización está colgado en la ventana de la oficina.
Contractors are expecting to begin to work on the covered walkway and also begin cutting the sidewalk, curb, and gutter. Because of this construction going on please be aware that we will be losing several of the handicap spaces in this area.
Construction Progress
Our completion date is still February 6, 2019 we are on target to meet that deadline. Dedication with Bishop Luis Zarama is set for Tuesday, March 5 at 6:30pm. Contractor is making excellent progress on the construction. Roof is almost done, masons are on schedule, exterior walls are finished and they have started on interior walls, plumbing, electricity, windows are almost finished. We continue to encourage parishioners to return pledges for the Memorial Gifts which are to be used for liturgical designs and construction not included in the construction budget (covered walkway and landscaping).
Construction Progress
We continue to make progress toward our scheduled completion date of February 6, 2019. The steel company has finished with their work and it’s time for the roof. This will be followed by the brick masons who will work on the walls. It is already looking like a church! This is the schedule for the rest of the summer. Parishioners are asked to return pledges for the Memorial Gifts Campaign which will be used to liturgical appointments and construction of a covered walkway.

Continuamos haciendo progreso hacia nuestra fecha de trabajo finalizado que es el 6 de febrero del 2019. La compañía de acero ha terminado con su trabajo and ahora es tiempo de comenzar con en el techo. Esto será seguido por los albañiles que trabajarán en el ladrillo. ¡Ya está pareciendo más como una iglesia! Pues este es el trabajo que queda por hacer este verano. Se le pide a cada familia que entregue su cooperación para las bancas en los sobres amarillos cada tercer domingo del mes.
