Who We Are:
Christians United Outreach Center of Lee County (CUOC) is an ecumenically sponsored food pantry and thrift store. We are supported by most of the Christian churches in Lee County. We are located on the corner of Lee Avenue and Seawell Street.
What We Do:
Operate a Thrift Store two days per week (Wednesday and Saturday), expanding to six days per week soon. Operate a food pantry three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) to service our client's food needs. We are also open Tuesday and Thursday for preparation. Currently we serve, on average, 833 families per month (3103 persons) with 45,257 pounds of food.
Requirements for Service:
All volunteers are welcome. Call for a no obligation tour and see where you can help. We have needs from clerical to custodial, from sorting to storing, from retail to receiving. We have volunteers that work from two hours per month to 20+ hours per week.
